In this pure hunter role, you will strategically prospect and win new business within the Medical Device, Robotics, Aerospace & Defense, and Embedded Systems industries, driving mission-critical software adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic market penetration plans targeting emerging and high-growth accounts
- Identify, prioritize, and engage new prospects through a disciplined and relentless outbound sales approach
- Build comprehensive account strategies, map key stakeholders, and create multi-threaded engagement plans
- Adapt sales strategies based on market trends, competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and business priorities
- Drive opportunities from initial outreach through qualification, evaluation, negotiation, and close
- Collaborate with technical, marketing, and partner organizations to accelerate customer acquisition and revenue growth
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements to expand market presence
Qualifications
- Equivalent professional experience in enterprise sales or business development
- 10+ years of successful new business development or enterprise sales experience in embedded software, hardware, semiconductor, or engineering technology markets
- Proven track record of consistently opening new accounts, building qualified pipeline, and exceeding revenue goals in a pure hunter capacity
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, software development processes, and engineering organizations
- Experience selling into Medical Devices, Robotics, Aerospace & Defense, Industrial Automation, or Embedded markets
- Familiarity with functional safety standards including IEC 62304, ISO 26262, or DO-178C, as well as RTOS, ARM, and CI/CD software lifecycle management solutions
- Exceptional prospecting, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust with engineering leaders and executive decision-makers.
