Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure boot protocols and trusted execution logic for diverse hardware platforms.
- Build interfaces for dedicated security hardware and cryptographic co-processors.
- Refine low-level system software to meet the highest standards of reliability and security.
- Perform rigorous vulnerability analysis on firmware and low-level hardware-software interfaces.
- Manage the technical roadmap for hardware-specific security features and integrations.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation for internal teams and strategic partners.
- Represent the firm at industry events to discuss the latest trends in hardware-based security.
Core Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in firmware development with a focus on security.
- Expert-level C programming skills for bare-metal and RTOS environments.
- Experience with Secure Boot, TEE, or HSM (Hardware Security Modules).
- Deep understanding of hardware-software interfaces and low-level system architecture.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to own complex technical projects.
- Comfortable working in a remote, self-motivated team environment.
- Excellent technical writing skills for complex system documentation.
- Expertise in developing trusted boot sequences and isolated execution environments.
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with reliability certifications for high-consequence industries.
